I know this isn't much of a tribute, but our dear Uncle Gene (Steven's Dad's brother) passed away this Saturday just as Brooke was getting home from the hospital. It was a long battle, so we all know he is in a better place now. But, that does not make it any easier on anyone. We are all human and would rather have him here. This picture was taken when Brooke first made it home from the hospital back in 2006, but it shows his big smile. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Diane, and Dadd Miller of course.
