It was just one of those days....

Have you ever had one of those days when you realize hours later that you should have just stayed in bed? Well, I realize now that yesterday was very much that way for me. I consider myself a very optimistic person (at least I try to be), but yesterday was a day of big and little uh-oh's, oops and injuries for me! For starters, my sweet hubby always brings me a cup of coffee in bed as he leaves for work in the morning (I know, he spoils me), well the first sip I took got spilled all down the front of me....and yes it was HOT! Then little mishaps kept happening all morning, like me dropping half of breakfast on the way to the table (for those of you who have not seen our house, it's NOT that far from the kitchen cabinet to the table!). My biggest ouch of the day happened an hour or so later as I was getting in my daily work out. My elliptical, which I have had since 2001 officially bit the dust, WHILE I WAS ON IT! I have been telling Steven it has started to groan like an old man, well yesterday mid stride the metal rod SNAPPED and in the process I got a lovely 3 inch scratch on my calf.....for those of you giggling, it WAS funny I admit....just keep your chunky butt comments to yourself! ;oP After that, I thought seriously about going back to bed, but for some odd reason I kept trying. Let's see, to make the rest of my day seem less painful I will say it quickly. I now have a burn on my hand from cooking dinner, I dropped several phones, drinks, additional food items throughout the afternoon. Dropped a box of my bosses mail in the middle of the post office parking lot with Brooke in tow. Pretty much fell in head first in Brooke's little froggie pool (lucky for me it wasn't enough water to DROWN in). Basically, here is to a better day! And, let's all hope Brooke gets her coordination from her DADDY!
