Thie week has been Red Ribbon week at Brooke's school, so this means another fun week of dressing up and activities. Monday was "We pledge to be hands off drugs" and they wore t-shirts that their friends got to sign. I took this picture after a long day at school, and you can only see a few signatures, but her back is covered.
Tuesday was "Put a cap on drugs" but of course my super stubborn sweetie wouldn't wear a cap, or even her ultra cute purple hat her Daddy got her....instead she wore her cowgirl hat again.
Wednesday they didn't participate in the "wild about being drug free" dressing up because instead they had a great field trip to the corn maize in Shallowater. I have wanted to go there for years, so I tagged along as a helpful parent and enjoyed the morning!
Brooke and a sweet classmate Hadyn were my responsibility, so you will see lots of pictures of Brooke and Hadyn. I put this picture first because on the hay ride one of the Dad's gave Brooke a corn cob. She hung on to this silly thing all morning....through the maize, the cow train ride, etc....and this goat stole it. The look on her face was hilarious....she wasn't sure whether or not to get upset because it was a GOAT!!
On the hay ride.
The entire Pre-K class. Brooke is the first one on the left on the lower level.
On the hay ride back after they got to pick their own pumpkins out of the patch.
In the cow train (buckets painted to look like black and white cows pulled by a tractor), it was a nice five minute break for us adults. ;o)
My sweet little lamb....
With more class mates.
