Deserving.

I hope you all have someone in your life you would do anything for just to make them smile. I am blessed with a very loving family, extended family and close friends I would do these things for.....but of course my daughter and husband are on that list as well.

Anyone that knows us has seen pictures of the horrible wreck Steven was in February 7th. Anyone that knows Steven knows how unbelievably hard he works. How he would never buy himself anything if that meant myself or our child would have to go without something. He has been a bit down since this wreck. A completely wonderful, paid off vehicle was totaled and there was no way any insurance company would have given us what it would cost to REPLACE it. He has been in intense pain, going through physical therapy to try to get the back pain to cease, and hoping life can return to normal....all while knowing he was going to have to drive a piece of junk truck (his wording not mine) because we could never find what he wanted for the money we wanted to spend.....well, after LOTS of searching all over the Internet.....I spotted what HE said he wanted....and planted the seed.....and as of yesterday we became the proud owners of just the truck Steven wanted:

This post isn't supposed to be about buying physical things.....that isn't what makes a person truly happy. What this is about is the fact hard work, dedication and love for family do pay off. I do not know anyone that is more deserving of finally receiving something than Steven. Seeing him drive this thing and the insane grin on his face that hasn't been wiped off yet is priceless. I know it won't stop the pain, but it sure does seem to help begin the moving on part....
