I think it's safe to say that posting to this blog MORE than once a month these days just isn't going to happen. SO, posts like these are mainly for family members who aren't on Facebook, so they can see our ever growing angel. It really does hit you some mornings, more than others...just how rapidly this girl is growing. She is amazing. Doing great in school. Loves Dance. Stays VERY active. And has a great attitude about it all UNLESS she needs to eat....I introduced her to the made up work Hangry this week...explaining that it meant we were so hungry we acted angry. ;)
She MIGHT be a little excited about the job of being a flower girl in a very anticipated wedding this summer, SO I have to practice on her hair quite regularly to see if that is how she is going to wear it....That what the first pic is for...she has even watched some hair tutorials off of the Disney Channel's website thanks to the cute movie Frozen.
She still has her own flare with any situation...I don't think I realize how easy going and go with the flow of a child she is....until I am around other kids. Then I very quickly send up a prayer of Thanks.
Yep, still very stylish....and she has to wear accessories her own way, and I wouldn't have it any other way even if it does take extra time some mornings.
The poses, oh boy they let me know what we're in for.
School work is challenging but very easily doable. She had a research project on an inventor, had to give a presentation and everything....in SECOND grade, oh boy. Side note, she did the work and the research all on her own and got a 100%!!
She is not in little dribblers because quite frankly I think having something 4 nights a week and all day on Saturday is too much for a 7 year old. I worry that I am keeping her from things, then I remind myself that she is okay. She performed basketball drills at halftime of one of the basketball games.
As a fundraiser one of the classes let them wear hats for $1, of course she could NOT pass this one up...
The ONE snowy afternoon we had she requested a snowball fight...
Had a great play date with a friend after church one Sunday....yes, they are the same age.
One of her responsibilities is to feed the fish, a job she takes VERY seriously.
Makes mud pies dressed to a tee.
LOVES every single Holiday, including Valentine's of course.
Still takes pictures every single time she borrows my phone.
She might be loved by some dogs....just maybe.
She loved the flowers we got to share and claimed the stuffed animals.
Wants to be outside any day it is above 60!
Has been practicing driving me around town on the golf cart.
Has become very independent, which is helpful 99% of the time. Made her own breakfast.
Is growing extremely fast....in height anyway. Momma still has to put darts in everything except leggings.
And this morning before school....she had to strike another pose to show off her wild leggings.
Okay, family and friends....all is well, all is busy and we are THANKFUL!!
