Catching up.

I have a lot of pictures to share....so, I will do two separate blog posts and try to explain some of the fun we've had lately! Life with a three year old is truly indescribable, and to say I love it is an understatement. I have been trying to focus more of my time when Brooke is here with me (which yes, is still 5 out of 7 days 24/7) on doing more activities together, which has meant me on the computer less. Or should I say I work on the computer while she is napping or at school, and since I have HAD work lately the blog has suffered a little, as have personal emails.

I have been feeling really sentimental lately. Nothing about my baby girl looks like a baby anymore. Not a single fat roll, chubby cheek or baby way about her. She is getting so tall and skinny, talks so big (always has actually), has her own opinions already, and is just fun to discuss life happenings with a three year old! She asks every single morning if she can go to preschool today, which is good because it means she loves it.....but I am not ready for her to go every day! I could go on and on about what she has already learned. She knew her alphabet, but now she can write nearly every uppercase letter very well...which we work on and draw every where possible....bath tub, mom's financial papers as soon as I turn my head....etc. ;o)

I will quit rambling, on to the pictures. We had ONE cold day here in Lubbock a week or so back. Brooke and I were about to head to the grocery store when I told her it's cold outside, we need to wear a jacket. Well, when I was getting my lightweight jacket on, she came out like this..... No, it wasn't THAT cold, but she wore her boots, hat and scarf the entire time we were in United....I KNOW she had to be hot, but she wanted to wear them!

Later that same day our good buddies Aiden and Gie came over so we could visit. Brooke and Aiden were being very quiet in her room. When we went to check they both walked out completely decked out in dress up clothes. Mike will be glad to know Aiden did NOT have a princess dress on....he told us he was a fisherman!

Getting TWO three year olds, neither of which had taken naps this day, to look at the camera together is nearly impossible.....so you get the idea.

Helping Aiden get his back pack on again. Notice he had to carry the purple one, Brooke's favorite is the blue one.

Princess Brooke and fisherman Aiden. Brooke still grabs her ears when she is sleepy, notice the ear grabbing.

Ear grabbing, saying cheese while looking at Aiden. Hey Angie, at least they are great pictures of Aiden! ;o)

At least one night a week we have started having a 'family game night' like they talk about on TV. No TV, just family play time. This night we were all playing Pretty Pretty Princess and Brooke stopped suddenly and told her Daddy that she needed to fix his toes.....I've yet to figure out why, but it WAS cute!
