Every year we all three get flu shots.....love the idea of prevention! I called and the doctor reminded me that I had never taken Brooke in for a 5 year check up and that was required before a flu shot. SO, this morning she got to be late to school in order to get checked out by the doctor and get her flu shot.
She is healthy as a horse.....although, Grandad was the grunting, panting horse in this picture when they were here last week.
I included the adorable picture to let my Dad know WHY he was groaning and worn out.....our healthy, happy 5 year old is officially 52 pounds and 4 feet tall, which makes her in the 98th percentile for her height......in other words, she is tall and solid. People argue with me when I mention her weighing 50 pounds because she is so tall and thin.....but healthy is the main thing and that she is!!
Another funny side note, I dropped her off at school just in time for her to go out with her class for PE.....perfect timing! ;o)
