We LOVE being home. I think that is the point of having a HOME.....a place of refuge, a place to feel 100% at ease, and place to WANT to be.....Steven and I have both always had this love of being home, and we have definitely passed it on to Brooke. She LOVES being home. There are days she whines and very dramatically will say "Do we HAVE to go somewhere? Can't we just stay HERE?"
We know the feeling.....today was that day. Steven's last day before returning to the grind of work.....so we hung out and had fun.
Steven did of course work on something.....he worked on the brakes of his truck, so as soon as Daddy stepped out Brooke disappeared into her closet and soon reappeared like this.....
A very sweet Aunt gave her a vintage Cinderella Barbie Doll, so Brooke and Cinderella Barbie were in their wedding dresses until bedtime. Might have driven her Daddy just a little nuts....you know, the idea of his baby girl wearing a WEDDING dress....but it was worth it!
And, a better picture of my Christmas present had been requested, so here you go.....now with Steven going back to work maybe I can actually DRIVE the thing! ;o)
