We are in TROUUUUUUUUBLE!

Have you ever had one of those days where you feel like you are ALWAYS busy?!  We do, a lot around here, as I am sure most parents do.  But, after TWO years of being asked very sweetly and persistently about dance lessons.....I finally caved.

The back story: I tried (more like begged and pleaded) for her to play Little Dribblers basketball (as well as little league, soccer, etc).  Fully knowing she's going to be tall, and living in a small town she will most likely be expected to play someday.  Her response, "Momma the ONLY way I will play basketball is if I don't have to dribble".....I told here that was why they called it Little DRIBBLERS, and we moved on.  She has shown NO interest in general sports.  I have tried to let her watch anything and everything to get her motivated if she sees her friends playing.  Didn't work.  At All.  ALL she has EVER been interested in (and we are talking since around age 3 that I can remember clearly) is DANCE and anything related.

I have been asking around for years, ever since her last dance lessons.  Getting people's opinions of places they've tried, calling for pricing.....and finally today (since she got out of school early due to the county stock show.....yet another thing she is not the least bit interested in) after having lunch with my little lady....I caved in and we signed her up.  Funny thing, it is actually quite a bit CHEAPER than all of the other stuff I have tried to get her to do.....and the look on her face was pretty much priceless.  We will be doing a month trial to make sure she can keep up with her school work while taking dance lessons one school night a week.....crossing my fingers now.

We had been home for MAYBE 5 minutes when she came out of her room like this:

The only thing we had to buy for this was shoes that would fit.  She has always loved to dress up, so I have kept leotards around to make her wear under the crazy princess dresses she constantly wears!

She has already been asking me constantly this afternoon "Momma, can I go to dance lessons NOW???" Oh, why didn't I sign her up for Thursdays?!  Haha!
