I haven't posted much during this Christmas Break for several reasons. The main one being that I treasure my time with her even MORE now that she is in school and on such a tight schedule! Absolutely NOTHING worked out as we had planned this Christmas Break, but you know what I have learned?! It's OKAY! We didn't get to go all the places we planned due to weather and me being under the weather again.....but I think instead we did what all three of us needed, which is REST and just hang out.
I tend to get NO work accomplished while Brooke is here, but that is because instead of prioritizing like I have to do during the summer break I tend to procrastinate, knowing she is only going to be home for two weeks!

Another sweet friend's mommy always has such WONDERFUL parties. This year was a non sleepover pj party. You would think it was a Hello Kitty party by how much Hello Kitty stuff Brooke had on that day. House shoes, pj's, leggings, earrings, and even under garments had Hello Kitty on them.....

This Momma doesn't just invite people over and expect them to play and entertain themselves....NO! This Momma has a different activity for them at every table. They made fruit loop necklaces, jeweled blankets for their baby dolls, toilet paper roll owls, and even their very own personal pizzas for lunch out of english muffins. She LOVED it....and I might have enjoyed myself too! ;)
And, this morning before school. Don't get me wrong, she was ready to go see her friends and teacher. I just don't think any of us were ready for the schedule again!
