I know it is later than some parents (to each his own), but maybe I was the one not ready to put my baby in a big girl bed!! We finally took the side off of her crib yesterday. I am sure Steven wanted to shoot me, I had him rearrange Brooke's room and move it all back when I didn't like it....I think I only got away with it since it was Mother's Day!! We have heard horror stories about kids screaming and crying when trying to get moved to a big kid bed, and wondered if WE would ever sleep a full night again, but once again Miss Brooke has pleasantly proven us wrong! SHE LOVES IT! The one thing I have yet to figure out is how to get her OUT of it! I had to drag her to breakfast this morning, and as you can see in these pictures she just loves being in it! She can now reach her cd player, so she turns her cd on and 'dances' constantly in her bed, which is what she was doing for the camera. I asked her last night if she wanted to go outside and play, she looked at me and said "No Momma, play in bed."
