Brooke chasing Cooper after a long night.

Our dog Cooper, for those of you who haven't had the pleasure of meeting him, is really good with Brooke.....in his own way. He hardly ever lets her touch him, he growls (not to worry, he's playing as he does with us) anytime she comes close, but then later he will follow her everywhere and lick her and he loves her big girl bed because he can get in it WITH her.

She loves it when she can sneak up on Cooper when he is sleeping on the back of the love seat. She whacks the cushions and hollers "BOO" knowing that he will jump, growl and take off running....then the fun begins. Cooper loves it, and these pictures show Brooke running all over the living room chasing Cooper. I think there is a black and white blur that is Cooper in one picture to prove I am not making it up. :o)

Now, to tell you WHY it was a long night. I think Brooke played too hard with her good buddy and neighbor Aiden (His Momma can tell you I ATTEMPT to blame him for everything ;oP). She slept from around 9:30 to 11, then she was up until almost 4am. On the bright side, she did EVENTUALLY get SOME sleep, as did Steven and myself (Cooper was snoring the entire time, so he slept well). The last picture show her newly painted bright pink toe nails, and the exhausted look she is currently sporting.
