No, I do not have a picture to prove this story so you will have to use your imagination. Brooke and I went to the empire known as Wal-Mart this afternoon, sporting hot pink toe nails, pig tails (Brooke not me, wouldn't that be a sight) and bright flip flops. She always love to show her 'shades' to everyone....well, in the process of showing a sweet little old lady her shades a shoe fell off. Then it was on. She figured out how to FLICK her shoe a good 20 feet away with one smooth kick! I think the look on my face when I saw her shoe flying by all of the innocent people who could have been smacked upside the head with it was probably far more entertaining to the people watching than Brooke CRACKING up afterwards. Brooke's flip flops got to ride in Mommy's purse for the rest of our shopping trip. I remember my Aunt Shelia telling stories of how I would walk in her house (full of antiques for those of you who don't know her) and flicking my flip flops off. So, this is to Aunt Shelia....I AM getting paid back for all of those times I made you cringe! :o)
Another side note, I do not truly blame our sweet little neighbor boy Aiden for any of Brooke's crazy sleeping habits. She has either recently been going through a growth spurt, or just decided NOT to sleep and to eat constantly instead. We did get at least 6 hours of sleep last night, which felt GREAT to me.....but 5 was earlier than I wanted to be up this morning!
