I took my FIRST shower today....in the new shower that is! It was like showering in a fancy hotel. I was brought back to reality by Brooke banging on the door saying "Huwwy up Momma!" So, maybe my shower was a little longer than normal! Steven ended up painting the grout with a sealant that also changed the color, and as you can see he had plenty of help while doing it. It does not matter what he is doing, she wants to be right in the middle of it all!
He decided it was really hard to get done with her sitting in his lap!
Latest fun stuff with Brooke, well there really is so much I am not sure where to begin. The first thing that comes to mind is Brooke has had "Please, Thank you, and Excuse me" mastered for quite some time now....but lately she has been saying "Pwetty Pwease" when she wants something, but when she is told no she cannot grasp why she isn't getting it just yet. She keeps telling me, "I SAID the magic words Momma." I have been completely honored lately because I have been chosen for the first time in Brooke't life over grandparents. We all know this is a phase and will most likely be over VERY soon, so I personally am going to enjoy it while it lasts! Her imagination is in full swing too. She can make any item in the house an instrument to play, sings constantly, and is developing fears of her own as well. The latest is a dragon....?! She will run get me, tell me a dragon is chasing her.....interesting, and entertaining for sure!
