Out of the mouth of a four year old.

Just a few funny things to share while I am thinking about them:

~The other morning Brooke asked me why we have hair in our noses. I tried my best at explaining it about it protects our noses, keeps foreign junk out of our noses and helps keep us from sneezing. A day or so later Brooke kept sneezing and she hollered at me across the living room, "Momma, my nose hairs aren't working!" She wonders why I giggle at her constantly?!

~Normally Steven wakes Brooke up on school mornings so he can gets hugs and kisses before leaving for work, but with him gone this week it's been my job. I figured out the easiest way to get her out of bed this morning. I told her MOMMA got to choose what she wears to school since she was still in bed.....she yelled "NO!" and jumped out of bed. Really...is it THAT bad to have Momma help dress you?!

~Months ago at school a big muscle building group of men came through town to show them all about strength, taking care of their bodies, as well as incorporating God into their lives. She still talks about them quite often, but one night at dinner she was drinking her milk and telling us it will make her strong, build her muscles, make her bones strong and suddenly she said "and it will give me big boobies Mommy." I giggled and asked where on earth she heard that and she said "Momma, like those big strong men who had big boobies".....oh boy....I told her those were MUSCLES too.

~On the same subject we were in Wal-Mart one day when a heavy-set man walked by us, Brooke very loudly pointed out "Momma, that man has bigger boobies than you do!" Yup....didn't know how to save us from THAT dirty look.....
