W is for Weather, Windmill's and Waffle Fries!

Here is a picture of Brooke before the fun of the field trip started.....performing for Mommy on her stage (aka the fireplace) before school.

First stop, KLBK NewsChannel 13 in Lubbock. They got to learn all about how they do the weather on TV. They got to ask the sweet weather lady (Sarah Dillingham) all sorts of fun questions about the weather. Brooke raised her hand and when she was called on her question was: "Do you like my sparkly shoes?" Yep, made this Momma proud....she also noticed the weather lady's beautiful high heeled red shoes and commented on them too. Think she likes shoes?!

They got to sit here patiently....or were supposed to anyway, while two kids at a time got their turn to be on the camera and do the weather.

It turned out to be COLD here yesterday after a weekend in the 90's, so they just drove through part of the Windmill Museum. We also went to Chick Fil A (I think it was due to teacher preference) and all of the kids asked about the W, so we told them their WAFFLE fries in their lunch was it. Everyone I heard answer about the favorite part of their day said Chick Fil A and the playground inside it.....
