We had to go back to the junkyard to release the truck to the insurance company and decided to go back and snoop while he did his job. People kept asking Steven about the inside of his truck, so here is a peek.
Steven would have never considered himself a huge FORD fan.....until now. The fact that nothing behind the dashboard was harmed in a 60+mph collision is amazing. Yes, his airbag deployed and his coffee splattered all over the truck.....but other than that the interior was in great shape. :o(
I saw Steven looking on the ground and heard him say "nuh uh how on earth did THAT survive?" and saw him picking this up.....the FORD emblem off the FRONT grill!
Steven showing where it WAS before the wreck.....the insurance adjuster told Steven he thought that was the perfect momento of how lucky he is.....so, it will be in our house from now on.
Brooke is sitting in my lap now saying "I miss that truck SO much." Reality is already here.....we are already battling with insurance 'pros' to try to replace the truck......I keep saying outloud to Steven "the truck IS replacable, you are not."
