Snow Days around here!

Since Brooke is not a late sleeper, snow days for us are normal mornings just without the rushing! Normal healthy breakfast with cartoons (we don't normally have time for cartoons on school mornings), extra cuddling (which is my FAVORITE part), and LOTS of extra time for our girly girl to feel fully accessorized!

She has an uncanny way of styling herself. I simply help if needed, but generally I just do her hair. ;o/

If you cannot tell by the picture she has a leopard print heart on her shirt, red leggings to match her red sweater, leopard print leg warmers to go with her leopard print boots and leopard print flower......and how she gets it to not look like too much....well, that is HER talent.

I absolutely love that she is such her own person and wants to look nothing like anyone else. I am trying to really focus on sayings like "Be your own kind of beautiful" to help reinforce her creativity and her being happy with the way God made her, we sure are!
