I brought all of these silly hammers home with me this morning when the sweet teacher asked us moms if we could blow up 30 hammers....YEAH RIGHT, so I used Steven's air compressor that is the size of a Volkswagon and aired them all up in less than 15 minutes! I am sad that one came home with us though because of the awful high pitched squeak they make.....but the kids LOVED them!
Brooke is in all of these pictures....but look at ALL of the faces and the hilarious fun they are having! That, to me is what this week is all about! MEMORIES!!
And, finally.....the rain moved to the North of us, so it DIDN'T rain on our parade!!
LOVING small town life!
This guy is the epitome of why I love living here. He was having as much if not MORE fun than the kids were!
The fun thing about the tractors is that there were 3 generations of men driving them, the 4th generation is on the floats behind them!
Pre-K: the best thing about their float was the Dad that volunteered to be Richard Simmons! PRICELESS!
Brooke, once again threw me specifically a Tootsie Roll Pop because she's heard me joking about not eating sweets unless chocolate is involved! ;o)
2nd Grade. I loved it. They blared MC Hammer's Can't Touch This from the DJ turntable up top, aka the teacher. The girls were dancing and singing, and the boys were rapping with their boom boxes on their shoulders. HILARIOUS!
There was even one that was a circus, it had everything. Pulled by a doon buggy, a ring of fire, kids dressed as cats, ringmasters, trapeze, and the wonderful teacher was a hoot too and the head ringmaster!
There were many more, but I shared my favorites to not bombard you with pictures. I will leave you with one more. A dear friend of ours, the beautiful Ashleigh is on Homecoming Court yet again this year. She is every bit as sweet as she is beautiful!
