This girl gets told on a regular basis how much people love her hair. To her, it's not a big deal....she's always had amazing hair, so she just says thank you and goes on about her business. Someday I hope she will understand the things her Mommy USED to do to her hair in an attempt to make it look like hers!! I have given up years ago and now I embrace my straight hair as what God gave me!
She got a hair trim just this last week, and the lady she went to gave her a few more layers which in turn makes it look even THICKER and curlier!
And, I had to show you her shirt. It is 100% accurate. In case you cannot read it, it says "1st Grade Diva" and after she was nearly in tears over a skirt debacle I told her she picked the perfect shirt this morning!
The skirts ARE getting shorter as she gets older.....and those legs are getting longer as well. I do not like the fact that the skirts barely cover the bootie as the little girls hit size 8 and above....argh. Now I understand why my sweet mother made my clothing!!
