I titled this post Field Trip, when in all actuality it is their Accelerated Reading Rewards party. They had to get their points and grades to get to go to this party. This time they went to the corn maize in Shallowater. Brooke asked me to go with them and of course I obliged. I took Brooke and three of her friends through the hay ride, they DRUG me through the corn maize, we picked out pumpkins the size of their hands, ate lunch in a barn, then headed to Maxey Park to spend the rest of the windy afternoon.
Brooke very quickly discovered why I have no desire to have farm animals.....the smell!!

And TGIF!! It is FRIDAY, which here in New Home means Pep Rally day. And since it's October, today is the PINK OUT PEP RALLY! Oh my, this girl had so much fun getting dressed this morning....pink EVERYTHING, even lightning bolt earrings and Madonna like lace gloves!
