Hectic Homecoming Week!

Thursday night was our annual Fall Festival.  Each class has booths and they raise money for their classroom expenses, trips, educational supplies, etc.  This year the Second Grade booth sold rockin' koozies and we had a face painting booth.  I volunteered and did things like flowers, rainbows, butterflies, etc.....and I signed Steven up and he did things like this awesome NH on Brooke's cheek, skeletons, dinosaurs, and WHATEVER else the kids requested.  Steven was THE hit of the Face Painting booth and might be begged to do it from now on!

A fun Homecoming tradition is after lighting the NH on fire, the kids get to spray paint their names on the street in front of the football field.  We hadn't ever let Brooke do it because it's usually SO late on a school night, but this year they made sure to do it early enough for the younger kids to participate.

The finished product.

Friday was Red and Black day to support our Leopards...

It was also parade day and our sweet neighbor brought out his tractor for the fun.

Later at the game, I couldn't pass this picture up.  The kids always have to hug on one another with their finger in the air while singing the school song.
