These days we all feel as though we are running in circles. Steven always stays busy, but Brooke and I have been busier than normal for a while now. BUT, I am caught up for the first time in a while.....and now don't know what to do, HA (yep, you will probably see more pictures again)! Brooke, however.....still hasn't stopped and for the days we are pinned inside due to crazy West Texas weather she LOVES to run.....and since there isn't room to run far in our house she runs around and around and around in our living room. Hey, it gets the energy out right?! She finds it even more fun when Daddy or Mommy are trying to do something like watch and actually hear the news!
I haven't captured many 'still' shots of her lately, because she would be asleep in all of them since she never stops! She is running and skipping around here to music playing in the background.
Still running around, but I figured I still owed my mother a picture of her hair cut....so, here you go....the back of her head! ;o)
Brooke woke up unbelievably clingy and fussy this morning. She has cried more today in two hours than she normally does in a week's time. She doesn't seem to feel bad, but of course I worry that she is getting something everyone else has been passing around....man, I hope not. Maybe she is just being a high maintenace female this morning!
Potty training update since I have been asked by so many. She is doing REALLY well. We have had her in pull ups, and in the last several days we have hardly had to change them at all. She has started telling us BEFORE she needs to go....and for a treat, as well as a suggestion from other mommies we are going to the store today to let her pick out her own cotton panties....I know, I might be rushing it....but I figure if it motivates her more it will be well worth the extra laundry I might have to do in the meantime! I am however, learning that what my mother has said ALL these years is true....egad, I know....she might actually know what she's talking about....haha, but she has always said it comes from consistency from the parents....well, the bells ringing again, time to go!!! ;o)
