An entire new appreciation.

This morning I was up and ready for a change (I am normally in my work out wear) before Brooke woke up raring to go to preschool. Her teacher Mrs. B called me this morning and asked if I would be her sub this morning in Brooke's class because she is under the weather. I, of course, said yes and off we went. Oh wow. I actually had a blast. Next time I will be far more prepared of course and know what exactly goes on, who does what, etc.....but I really had a good time. On the other hand, as if I didn't appreciate Brooke's awesome teacher before.....well, I definitely do now. One day of it was hardly nerve wracking or stressful, but 4 days a week of 8 to 10 three year olds.....makes me extra grateful for Mrs. B!

As a side note, it also made me even more appreciative for my own child and her ways. She could have been a hand full and been extra ornery because her momma was teaching, but she wasn't. Instead she was one of my biggest helpers. Brooke and her good friend Brooklyn helped me make sure everything was done right. From cleaning up the toys while singing, or making sure everyone washed their hands to telling their classmates they aren't supposed to be doing that. It was too much fun.
