The two latest songs that pop into my head which Brooke sings with her own words. Jesus Loves Me and Jingle Bells.
"Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way. Oh what fun things we have to do in a sleigh."
I know that is several months behind, but last week she was still singing it this way.
What made me even write this short blog post is suddenly Brooke has added a different word to a song she's been singing for years. Yesterday morning at breakfast she was singing Jesus Loves Me and suddenly she started acting like she was rocking a baby and singing about gravy...?! What I remember from yesterday goes like this: "Jesus Loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so, little ones eat gravy this I know, yes Jesus Loves me...."
Her current FAVORITE song is the Black Eyed Peas "Boom Boom Pow" but she calls it "gotta get get". For those of you who do not know who that group is, it will make no sense. But, for those of you who have heard the song.....listen to the background singer the next time you hear it. He says "gotta get that" over and over. That is Brooke's favorite part of her favorite song.....this month anyway.

too bad we don't live closer. brooke & addi would be bff's for sure! with all the singing & dancing & dressing up that goes on b/w the two of them - the would have a blast together. :)
