We have two cameras. The one I carry with me everywhere in my purse, which gets downloaded all the time. And, the big fancy one that I hardly take anywhere because of my fear of destroying it. All that said to tell you I finally downloaded the other camera and here are a few of my favorites.
What happens when Daddy is napping in the same room where a little girl is playing.....he wakes up to a slew of things surrounding him.
I figured out why Brooke loves it when Daddy lets her ride her bike so much more than when I do. Daddy follows her EVERY move! Then when I am out there she gets disappointed that I am staying in one spot instead of running with her. Daddy got his exercise for sure!
She stopped and asked me to take her picture with her Daddy.
This past Friday evening, my two loves had a date night without me. Steven asked Brooke that morning before he left for work if she would go on a date with him. To say she was thrilled is a huge understatement! She told EVERYONE at school that day, including other random parents walking down the hall. So everyone knew about her date with her Daddy and the fact that Momma was NOT invited. Here are a few pictures of them before they left for their date.
I was asked very sweetly if I would paint her toenails and fingernails just for her date that night.
AND, to finally get to the title of this blog post. The next morning Brooke's first words to me were: "Momma, I am going to marry my Daddy when I get big!" That is how a little girl SHOULD feel about her Daddy. And Steven must have done something right to get this little girl to adore him even more than ever before.....like just being himself!
