SNOW!!

We actually had some moisture here the other day in the form of SNOW! I don't know who was more excited....myself, Brooke or Steven! We love it, but since we have lived in this house we have only been here for one snow and it was 17 degrees with a negative wind chill and none of us was willing to let Brooke go out there, let alone go with her!

I tortured our poor child by making her stay in the warm house drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows while her Daddy made his way home, fully knowing not only did we want him to participate but that he might actually enjoy it too! I think this might prove he did....at least a little. ;o)

After making her put on at least two layers of everything we headed out....front yard didn't have quite enough snow to make a snowman, so we checked out the backyard. Here is what she would have been content doing instead of us MAKING her work at building a snowman!

I don't toot Steven's horn publicly quite enough....he is a spectacular Daddy and Husband who absolutely always puts our needs and wants above his own. He had been home for not even 5 minutes when he was outside making our girl a snowman. Love him more than I could ever express.

How she helped most of the time....notice her mouth is of course moving....heehee.

Of course she did have an opinion about the accessories.....eyes needed to be pecans (which we have tons of in our backyard), nose a carrot of course....I am pretty sure she was disappointed that all Mommy could come up with was a baby carrot, a pipe cleaner mouth, golf club arms.....

And a fireman's hat!

The two loves of my life.....if they only knew how day to day life with them makes me happy!

And, the Miller family's first snowman in New Home!

The next morning the first thing she had to do was go to check on her snowman. Then she said "Momma, I am going to be SO disappointed if that snowman ever melts." I didn't have the heart to say a word......
