Hay less Hay Ride.

Today at Brooke's preschool was their Fall party. What Fall party would be complete without a hay ride?! Well, this was a hay free hay ride, which I was grateful for because allergies are bad enough around here this time of year! Living in West Texas you really never know what you're going to get weather wise. The forecasters said it was supposed to be 75 today (which I think it is now), but because of the high winds it felt COLD out there. I was one of the moms who helped and also got to ride along. It is so fun to watch a bunch of little girls together.

This is before 'hay ride'.

During, well Brooke did all she could do to keep her ears covered and the wind out of her face. So, she was facing backwards the entire ride. It was very windy, but also very enjoyable....

After the hay ride, trying to get all the girls to look at the same time.....well, let's just say I won't be griping about Brooke playing hard to get when it comes to the camera any time soon!

Back inside, after they got to play in the gym they lined up for their pizza party!

I took this for several reasons. One, being it was just too cute to see a bunch of little girls sitting there quietly chowing down. Two, this was Brooke's first lunch AT school....and you know me and documenting any first of Brooke's. She sat there the entire time, silent.....eating and watching all of the fun and craziness going on around her.

Back at home, while Brooke was napping I decided it was time to make her tutu for Halloween, so here is her after just waking up with her new tutu on. Yes, she already has several, but this is the first one SHE got to pick out the colors (her favs purple and blue) and she has yet to take it off!
