As promised, here are pictures of Brooke attending a Princess Cookie Party at an awesome little cookie shop here in town called Cookies By Design, which I love. Brooke has a Cookie of the Month club card, which gives her a free cookie every month. They are smart by giving these to little kids because they know mom's like myself cannot just go in and get ONE free cookie a month!
ANYWAY, last weekend with my folks here we took her to this Princess Cookie Party...cold front and all. When I asked her how she wanted to dress up, she wanted to wear her Tech football jersey and her princess skirt. I really want to encourage her individuality, and in the process I get a precious tomboy princess who catches everyone's eye by her put together outfits. All the other little girls were wearing their store bought princess outfits. There is nothing wrong with that, Brooke has a few herself.....but it is so cute to watch her walk into a room full of dressed to a tee princesses with tennis shoes, a football jersey and a tiara. I LOVE this little girl!
Here she is icing her cookie mostly by herself. She picked purple of course, and did get some help from the beautiful Cinderella and Snow White. So sorry to the grandma in the background I caught on camera tasting the goodies.
Now, on to decorating! She pretty much blobbed a bunch of icing right in the middle until she got some help.
Momma, I am busy!
Don't you just love this fake, trying to please Mom and Granny smile for the camera?! With her finished cookie. It had sprinkles, sparkles and icing galore.
This smile seems a little more genuine.
I was trying to take her picture with the princesses, but she would not take her eye off that cookie and icing!
My princess in between Cinderella and Snow White.
Because I like to ration her sweets, she finally finished up the last piece of that large cookie today at lunch.....it almost lasted the whole week!
