As you all know I am totally in love and obsessed with this little girl. That's nothing new. BUT, if you had a head of hair like this you might also get obsessed with one more thing.....
I make bows....ALL the time for Brooke. This picture is just of the one's I have made her that have clippies on them, it doesn't include the ties and bands I have made for her. Just yesterday I made four more.....for no particular reason, other than I had the ribbon. I suppose this is my one way of making her look as girlie as possible while still allowing HER to pick her own clothes.
I use this blog as my scrap book, which is why I am taking a chance at Steven giving me a hard time for posting these. They are too precious to not have in a scrap book. They show what a loving, caring, patient Daddy he can be. I love watching the two of them play together. Never before have I seen my husband in this much jewelry.....and I hope this is the ONLY way I ever see him in jewelry...haha! According to Brooke she was making Daddy her prince. She would get him all decked out and then ask him to dance with her to a princess dance. The princess dance is currently a Henry Mancini song that her piano plays and it's her new favorite song.....this week anyway.
Never before have I thought a man with so much jewelry was handsome.....his love for her takes my breath away.
Princess Brooke. You can see her eye was still swollen in this picture. All is well now though and nothing is infected anymore! We are just living with day to day allergies, which means lots of sneezing.
A few things about Brooke these days.
~She LOVES preschool and usually wakes ME up on the mornings for her to go....unlike how she reacted a couple of weeks ago. She behaves very well and according to the teacher is one of her best behaved students now that she's adjusted.....whew!
~She loves meatloaf. However, if you call it meatloaf she won't eat it......BUT if you call it loaf she pigs out on it. Her response, "I don't like meat Momma, just loaf."
~She is now 3 and a half, yet needs 5T clothing to be long enough. She has been the same weight for over 6 months now, but continues to grow UP......so, we're wearing a lot of leggings because the 5T clothing is way too big around the waist for her. Yes, I am learning how to do darts that actually look nice so she can keep some jeans up.
~She is already making a Christmas list for Santa. So far, it just has two things on it.....a violin and princess stuff. She told me yesterday instead of drawing her list she wanted to either call Santa's cell phone or just email him. Oh boy, so technical for three!
