Texas Tech Day

Today at Brooke's preschool is Texas Tech Day. The kids are supposed to wear their red and black and some of the cheerleaders were there to perform, as well as some pom girls and my personal favorite Raider Red. I went to watch Brooke and take pictures of her of course, but I also had to take pictures of the cheerleaders for Unc Bro ;o).

In light of Texas Tech, Red and Black day I have searched all over this city for Brooke a red or black jersey.....and since I had no luck she wore the only Tech item we own that actually fits right now, and of course she stuck out like a cute sore thumb.....and she loved it! Here is Brooke with some of her classmates and her wonderful teacher Mrs. B before we went to meet the cheerleaders. Please notice the hot pink leopard print bow....and yes, I made it last night for Brooke per her sweet request to match the socks just like it.

I took a ton of pictures (go figure) and there were lots of things going on in the background to take away from this smile.....so I cropped everyone else out! Aren't I sweet?

According to Brooke, life can now go on now that Brooklyn is there. She is now sitting in Mrs. B's lap and she has been Brooke's buddy for years now. They have an unspoken bond that is super cute.

Future Red Raider?! My Brooke with the cheerleaders.

Brooke was scared to death of Raider Red at first, so I bribed her into taking a picture with him as long as I held her. After she met him up close she fell in love with him!

Raider Red was VERY entertaining. I was sad I didn't get a picture of him riding one of the tricycle's.....because that had to take talent in that big ole costume!

There were only three cheerleaders there this morning because of mid term's. They really got the kids involved and put on a good show. The cute blonde up front works at Brooke's school, so the kids all loved seeing someone they knew doing all of these cool stunts and flips.

Who entertained who? The kids were yelling the cheers back at them!

Some pom girls, cheerleaders and Brooke's class! If you can't find Brooke in the pink up front.....well, notice the ONE child not looking....yep, that's mine!

She was looking in this picture, but no one else was....and I chopped the male cheerleader's head off....and the girl behind her was pulling her pants down.....so, I cropped again.

I had wondered what 'duck and bubbles' meant when Brooke would tell me about it. The class gets in line, blows their mouth up like a bubble to be quiet and they all waddle back to the classroom. Too cute!

Too cute!! LOVE the pink jersey. They have them at Academy in red and black if you're still looking for one. That's where we get all of Bry's UT gear =)

I'm just thinking there's not much to those cheerleading uniforms! Steven might die if Brooke wants one of those! I bet it's cold cheering in that! Cutter and Carsyn too were scared to death of Raider Red but thats all they talk about now. What a great day at preschool. Sooo fun.
