Why wait for Halloween?!

One Halloween tradition Brooke and I have is to stop by a dear friend's office for 'trick or treating'. We continued this tradition and I must say Brooke cleaned up! Johnna's co-workers were so generous and friendly and Brooke loved the attention. No, I didn't think to take the camera, so just know Brooke played super bashful and very quietly said "trick or treat" and "thank you". Then when we got in the car she was loud and gabby like her old self.

Last night was a lot of firsts for Brooke....and maybe me too. Nana and Paw came down to watch Brooke last night so Steven and I could have a much appreciated date night. But, what the first was.....this was the first time Brooke has really gone anywhere or to a function without ME! Nana and Paw took her to the Elk's Lodge here in Lubbock to a Fall Carnival and I really don't know who had more fun....Brooke, Nana or Paw! She played miniature golf, ring toss, got to fish, bowl, throw darts (magnetic people, not sharp ones), do a cake walk, and all sorts of other firsts and had a blast! She got two jack-o-lanterns full of candy just yesterday. I am wondering if we should bother with trick or treating tonight, HA!

My one stipulation for Nana and Paw to take Brooke was to take pictures! Here are some pictures of the fun they had last night at the Carnival.

My Butterfly Princess playing miniature golf with Nana.

Jack-o-lantern is already half full.....

Throwing darts with Nana.

Fishing....

I think they were patiently waiting in line, I just liked the shot of my butterfly princess.

Soccer....

I threw this one in because it made me giggle. Brooke and Nana doing the cake walk, but notice Brooke carefully watching the witch behind her!

A bowling game.

Fishing with Paw!

Nana and Paw did a great job of spoiling her and also wearing her out! She slept late this morning, which we all appreciated! The first thing she said to me this morning was, "Momma, I went to a Carnival, fished, saw a clown....." and on and on! Thanks for the wonderful memories Nana and Paw!
