Our annual trip to the North Pole by taking the Polar Express was last night. Brooke's favorite part once again was the hot chocolate and the cookie, but when I asked if we could just have hot chocolate and cookies next year she said "Momma, I like the train ride too of course."
Waiting outside in the COLD!!! At one point she had her entire face in Daddy's jacket, so she wasn't cold at all!
Had to show the whole PJ outfit.....
Very excited to be in the WARM train car!
We're moving!
Watching the conductor on his way to punch her golden ticket.
She asked for a B....
Hugging on my growing girl!
She had to take an early Christmas present from a friend, her new kitty she named 'Christmas'.
Watching the beautiful elf making her way towards us.
And the beautiful elf named Snickerdoodle. Brooke loved the sparkles she had all over her face.
And Santa. She wasn't convinced this guy was the real Santa. When I asked her why she said "Momma, when he turned around I saw some yellow hair sticking out the back of his hat AND he's wearing boots that tie instead of the real kind that pull on." I tried to explain that people away from Texas wear that kind of boots and that maybe Santa was a blonde before he started getting old......I don't know that our skeptic believes that this guy is the real one, but we tried!!
And her bell from Santa!
We plan to enjoy this tradition as long as we can with this growing girl who is already such a skeptic!
