Awwww.

Brooke's tummy situation has been better and she's been recovering nicely, so Thursday evening when it was still 80+ degrees outside I decided we would walk outside to get some much needed fresh air. While we were out there our wonderful neighbors/friends stopped us, so we walked across the street to tell them hi. Brooke and I were both bare foot (go figure I know), so Brooke would not walk in the still dead, scratchy grass. Well, Aiden (the little boy Brooke's age and BFF) ran in his own backyard and disappeared for a while.....which left us all wondering. Finally, when he reappeared he had a pair of shoes out of his own closet that he brought for Brooke to wear because he wanted her to be able to run with him!! I thought that was the sweetest thing! Too bad Brooke's foot is quite a bit bigger than his, so it didn't quite work the way he intended.

Since then.....well, Brooke now has a horrible cough due to drainage!! UGH! My assumption is that it is allergies/sinuses since Steven and I battle that regularly ourselves. Last night it was so bad that it had her gagging and coughing in her sleep. SO.....while her tummy issues are over we are on to something else!
