The lack of blog updates has been due to ME being the one under the weather lately. First, Steven kept me up for a week or so coughing and hacking (thank you allergies), then Brooke's tummy bug hit, then Brooke's allergies a few days later.....and now, wah lah it's MY turn! I am pretty sure it's just a sinus infection, but will find out for sure tomorrow.
Brooke has been doing really well and her allergies have been under control with the help of Claritin. I haven't taken many pictures because I don't think about it as often when I am feeling icky myself, BUT I did take one of Brooke with her "magic wand" and wanted to share a story than made me tear up earlier this evening.
Brooke loves this silly magic wand as she calls it. It was originally a part of an angel Halloween costume from years before she came along (no, Steven was NOT the angel). Earlier this evening she was looking everywhere for this magic wand when she finally asked me if I knew where it was. I did (because I had it hidden on top of the fridge), so I gave it to her and asked why she needed it so badly......her response melted my heart.....she said, "magic cadabra Momma I make you feel better" whacked me on the head with it and kissed me on the forehead! Awwww, man I am so blessed to live with such a sweetie!
