Brooke loves to wear silly dress up things, and this week's choice has been this flower headband....what could be more appropriate for the first day of Spring?!
I've been reminiscing a lot lately. Brooke is almost three already, and that is so hard for me to believe. She has grown yet another inch, is taller than some 4 and 5 year olds we've been around and hasn't gained but 3 ounces since Halloween.....so, she is definitely growing UP....in more ways than one! She is a complete jabber box, talks non stop and has blown any so called milestones out of the water when it comes to anything to do with her vocabulary. She is such a fun, friendly little girl (yes, I am completely partial) who always finds something to compliment people on. It's quite funny to go to music class so she can interact with other kids her age and she prefers to walk around and visit with the mom's because she doesn't understand the little kids jabber.
I have always considered myself a blessed momma, but I really see how good Brooke is when I take her to places like Old Navy and all the shopping carts are gone....so, I let her walk....worrying that she is going to get into stuff, like all the other kids are. I calmly told her to hold onto my pants pocket while I look and don't touch anything.....she amazed me yet again....she was so thrilled to not have to hold my hand and instead hold my pocket that she forgot about trying to get into anything!
