Outside?!

Do you think this poor, mistreated child wants to go outside or what?!

We have had several beautiful days in a row here in Lubbock, so in the evenings we will leave the back door open and just have fans going to keep the house cool. We do not allow Brooke to go outside without permission, or without someone outside with her.....especially with random things such as a piece of Steven's truck sitting on the back patio. Tuesday night I told her do NOT go outside without me, she listened well....and every time I looked this is where she was. In this picture she was hollering at me to come see a lady bug she found.

Last night, apparently I was not as specific as the day before. I told her to stay on the rug....not to stay inside....so, as I was cooking dinner I looked over to see this.... Techinically, she IS still on the rug....right?!

She turned and looked at me as if posing for the picture and said "Look Momma, I on the rug!" How can I argue with that?!

I suppose words will have to be chosen carefully from here on out! ;o)
