Lots of pics, Part II

We had such a great Fourth of July holiday. Although we drove the hour to Plainview, it was truly a relaxing holiday. Once we got there we never left the Miller's backyard. It was a beautiful, hot day interrupted by showers to help cool it off through the afternoon. Could NOT have asked for a better weekend. I managed to throw my back out again the morning of the 4th, so other than walking like someone 60 years older than I am, it was great!

Miss Brooke watering Nana's flowers with what else, a water gun!

Seeing a trend here?! She loved the water guns. Smart investment Aunt Angie!

Steven managed to capture me doing what I thought I was sneakily doing.....and what I did ALL day long. Munched on watermelon and canteloupe....mmmmm.

WATER....this girl loves the pool. And no, her hair didn't get very wet at all!

Nana joined Brooke for tons of fun, but because I like my life I am not posting pics of Nana IN the pool with Brooke.....hehehe.

Nana getting squirted in the rump....

Nana retaliating.

Although I couldn't stand up straight, Brooke wanted to get me.....so, I gave her my best side. ;o) I know, I know....how could she miss?! I know Steven wanted to add that. HA!

I groaned when filling the water gun, but HAD to get Brooke too!

It wouldn't have seemed like the Fourth of July without Watermelon! Steven was munching on pecans while Brooke and Paw ate watermelon.

I try to make sure we get an annual family picture, so here we are....hot, sweaty and having fun!

Paw getting a work out....pulling two of his grandkids, Brooke and Thomas.

Thomas pulling Brooke.

Brooke 'pulling' Thomas with some much needed help from Unc Tracy. I don't think she knew she was getting help, so the look of pride on her face was quite adorable.

Water fight #2. Tracy and Thomas.

I was glad I had two excuses....one, I was walking like a grandma and two, I had the camera!

We had a blast! Thank you Nana and Paw for hosting the Miller Fourth of July!

After Unc Tracy put on our own private fireworks show we ended the evening with what else....S'MORES!!! Might have been my favorite part....of course! Note the chocolate all over Brooke's face.

We quickly bathed all of the bug spray off of Brooke, put her in her jammies and drove back to Lubbock. She crashed before we left the Plainview city limits (as did Cooper) and we just plopped her in her bed when we got home. Fun times!
