I am sure most people, especially those with kids, can relate to saying you feel so busy. I feel like we go non stop, but to sit down and tell you what we've been up to or what we've accomplished....well, I don't sound that busy. Maybe it's just the hot weather, and the fact that we like being out in it, so we do less IN the house and as much outside as we can.
I am learning that Brooke (with the assistance of sunscreen of course) bronzes like her Daddy and I both do instead of burns, so she is already getting a summer glow to her. We went back to the pool this morning with two other moms and two other three year old girls and played for at least 2 hours. No lessons, because Brooke did NOT want to go back to lessons. No, I am not giving up on lessons I just wanted us to go and have fun, no pressure, and that we did! I was sitting here typing this wondering why I feel so tired....ha. Apparently keeping up with a three year old at the pool for hours takes it out of you.
Potty training, well....it's keeping me on my toes. Or, let me rephrase....poopy training is keeping me on my toes. She has only had one potty accident in her cotton panties in a week, and that happened to be when we were outside playing, and she was afraid if we came in to potty that we'd have to stay in. I never expected poopy training to be so.....um....exciting...?! Oh well, she is doing great either way. Other moms in the process, don't give up! ;o)
I included two random pictures for grandparents sake. First one is the best $1 I've spent lately. She LOVES this tiara and wand....we got to have dinner with PRINCESS Brooke last night, and it was the first thing she put on this morning.
Man, I am so in love with this little girl....and pictures like this make her look even more angelic. She is worn out after our hours at the pool this morning, and as I type this I am still trying to get her out of bed from her nap. Time to go cuddle!
