Our new kitchen table.

Yes, I know the title was a total teaser of sorts. The story behind the title is that my wonderfully generous parents bought me/us a new kitchen table for an early birthday present. We ordered it from Ashley Furniture (Brooke was disappointed by the way Ashley, that we weren't coming to see you at your store) so it will be in sometime around 2 to 6 weeks..... And brilliant me listed our old table on Craig's List last night and it sold immediately and we got paid to deliver it! So.....my brilliant mind decided since I couldn't get our card table out (it's behind one of Steven's prized possesions, his '54 BelAir) without scratching the paint on the old red car I decided to do this instead. Yup, all three of us sat at this tonight for dinner and Brooke LOVED every second of it. I think she might not like our new table as well when it finally does come in! I should have taken a picture of Steven sitting at it....there was NO way his legs were going to fit under it, so his knees were way up in the air. Good times.

Here is to another few weeks with this table....haha, we might break down and get out the big one, but do it while Brooke is sleeping for less resistance!
