Jeeping, throwing rocks, making memories.....

Today we took a nice long jeep drive from Durango to Silverton, and took Brooke on some wonderful 'hold on for your dear life' type of trails. We didn't make as full of a day as we would have before our angel joined us, but we did just enough to not wear her out. She got to see the Durango Silverton Narrowgauge RailRoad train in person in Silverton. She didn't want it to leave, but didn't want to get too close either. We are now back settled in for the evening after Steven cooked us a wonderful dinner. Here are a few highlights of our day:

The story behind the first picture. Steven and I have a picture of just the two of us from about 4 years ago in front of this very waterfall. So, when we drove by it this trip we just HAD to take a new Miller Family picture in front of the beautiful waterfall. Now it looks complete!

Brooke's favorite part of the day when I asked her was "rocks, Momma" and honorable mention goes to "ridin in the jeep."

Steven being used as the jungle gym in front of the Silverton's visitor center.....just look at the view behind them.

Just us posing with her sitting on the jeep with a big stick.....do we look trained or what?!
