Behind the "mad"ness.

I have figured out what is behind the toddler tantrums that suddenly started yesterday, thanks to a friend who has kiddos and common sense. ;o) I knew babies went through teething, but had never heard of two year molars until my bud "Gie" mentioned them to me a week or so ago. Brooke will go from being her angelic self (which of course any Mommy would say) to a total tooter in seconds. Most of the meltdowns she has previously had could have been prevented by me, such as hunger, sleepiness or just too much activity. But, the last two days have consisted of meltdowns that I had never experienced before. She was, to me, acting as though she didn't feel well. Then the lightbulb went off yesterday during breakfast. She was eating grapes when she grabbed her cheek and squealed "ouch Momma, hurts"....then refused to eat anything else. Which is NOT like her, anyone that is around her knows how well she eats. So, I got her out of her seat and started feeling, and WAH LAH there are four knots in the back of her mouth AGAIN! Poor thing. I relate this pain to how sore my mouth was when I had braces and would get them adjusted.

Now when she started acting fussy yesterday I gave her the miracle drug of Tylenol and my angelic baby came back! WHEW!!

Brooke flying high and feeling better!
