I fully expected Brooke to EVENTUALLY act like a toddler, but when it happened to us overnight I was quite shocked! She went from letting ME choose how to do her hair and what she wore to being quite opinionated. I now let her choose between several outfits every morning. And when it comes to her hair, all of a sudden I am lucky to get it combed! It took letting HER pick out the barrette to even get one in her hair yesterday. Now granted when her hair is down it shows how beautifully thick and curly it is, and people tend to think she is older with her hair down....which Steven doesn't like already! She is queen of "I DO IT" and Miss Independent 99% of the time, the other 1% is when she is sleepy and wants to be held. This makes me appreciate those cuddly moments even more!
She has also recently added several things to her vocabulary that have been shocking to us.....not BAD words, just things like "MINE", "NO", "STOP", and other things that we weren't expecting.
Steven is off this week, and she is LOVING every second of her Daddy being here. In fact, I am sort of like chopped liver this week. ;o)
