I know some mother's relish in the day their daughters wear their wedding dress that they've passed down. Well, since I refuse to rush that, and Steven has just now lowered the dating age to 51 my mother dug this dress out instead! This is a hand crocheted dress that I wore.....so, yes it's pretty old! My Granny Mildred made this for me and I have always thought her handiwork is beautiful! Now granted by looking at how it fits Brooke I was obviously shorter and rounder (okay, I admit I was a chunky baby), but I think it fits beautifully!
She enjoyed wearing this dress so much that she threw a toddler fit when it was time to change clothes.....which is a first! You can expect to see this dress in other pictures in the future.
