My birthday was great fun yesterday, thanks for all the well wishes and over the hill cracks. I would have felt mistreated without them! :o) My day consisted of a wonderful work out, therefore I felt I could PIG out more later in the day, followed by opening and reopening a box my parents sent me. I let Brooke help me open it originally, then the rest of the morning she would put a random toy (sometimes even just a piece of paper) in it and bring it to me saying "Momma, open present" then I would open it and she'd say "do you like it, hmmmm?" TOO much fun. You better believe I enjoyed opening all of those 'presents'.
My wonderful in laws came and took me out to lunch, where I pigged out and thought I couldn't eat any more until the birthday chocolate dessert came.....then somehow I miraculously managed to make TONS of room for that stuff.....MMMMM! I did however learn the ONE down fall to chocolate......Brooke hasn't had all that much of it, so when she dug in yesterday at lunch she had an all afternoon sugar high! She skipped her nap, therefore was a little fussy at dinner with friends....which is not like her at all. And she was too tired to eat much, so she started waking us up at 3 this morning. SOOOOO, for anyone that actually saw me today I might look older because of the bags under my eyes!
The picture below is Miss Brooke once again choosing her accessories. I asked her to go put her shoes on so we could leave and this is what she came out wearing.
