I don't know that these pictures need much explaining except to tell you she found a lady bug! These pictures weren't snapped quickly either. She got out of her froggie pool (which you all know she loves) and was just fascinated by the lady bug (the tiny black dot on her slide). She talked to it for quite a while and kept asking if it was alright.
Of course I love all pictures of Brooke, but this last one shows her really close up and really examining that bug! I must say this particular curiosity HAS to come from her Daddy....because anyone that knows me KNOWS how I feel about any and all bugs! ;o) The picture also shows her adorable upper cheek dimple.
This morning, Steven was already dressed for work, just putting his belt on when a sleepy Brooke walked through our bedroom door. She normally wakes up after he is already gone for work. She hasn't seen much of him the last few nights due to farm work, so she saw him and he got the open arms, groggy eyed squeal "DADDDDDY!" and the big, long hug. He looked at me and said "I think I need a personal day." SOOOO, Daddy and Brooke are currently playing with a hammer and screwdriver in the living room as I type this.
