What a life!

Brooke watching cartoons. What a life!

The little pink blob looking thing she is holding is called a "tyke light." I read about them online and thought maybe it would help Brooke go back to sleep on her own when she wakes in the middle of the night. It is a little LED light that she can carry around with her as she sneaks out of her bedroom, or can sleep with (which she has done so far). She has always been a really good sleeper, but the only time she has awakened since we've had this light was a true test, she held onto this little thing instead of fighting sleep.....so, as far as I am concerned it works! And she loves to carry it around the house with her too....lucky for us so far she likes her sleep so much that she only carries it during the day instead of scaring me to death at night!

This picture of Brooke and her tyke light I had to share to show that she DOES look like her Momma and Daddy.....for those of you who already knew that, this time I am referring to the BRUISE on her forehead. I have had my klutzy moments and battles with that old elliptical to give me bruises, Steven has bruises from actual manual labor and Brooke has bruises too.....probably just from being OUR child! ;o)
