As you can tell by these pictures, Brooke LOVES her time with Aiden. You have seen pictures of him before, and she has other play dates and play mates, but since Aiden's mommy and I are close they are close. We were coloring last night when Angie called, so I asked Brooke if she wanted to eat and play with Gie and Aiden....she dropped everything, took off running, put her shoes on, came back and grabbed my hand pulling me out the door. I had to explain the concept yet again of NOT YET!
In fact, Brooke likes Aiden so much that he was carrying her favorite toy around outside yesterday (her cell phone) and when he dropped it she picked it up. He started fussing, wanting to play with it and I asked her if she could share with Aiden, and she could have it back when he is gone. She handed it to him and said "here Aiden, you pay wif it....I pay later." Amazing.....love that little girl!
Lately Brooke has been what some people would call more clingy.....but instead I will label it more needy of Mom's attention. I was in the computer room working this morning when she came to the doorway and hollered at me to come see her. When I did she asked me to pick her up, pointed to the recliner and said "sit please" when I did she patted me on the leg and said "Mommy, sit down, welax, watch Einstein's wif me".....how in the world could I say no to that?!
