Our Fun Fourth.

Before our busy day got started, I walked out of the shower to see this! Steven painted Brooke's fingernails and toenails bright red for the Fourth! Yes, she sits completely still while you do this, especially for her Daddy!

This was her first petting zoo experience. She loved it. She fed goats, calves, an alpaca, and her favorite of the day was a joey. He was so soft and really good natured!

I don't think she knew what to think of this alpaca, he kept missing the food cup and licking her....I love the expression.

Back at Nana and Paw's they got out the sprinkler. I have already learned you can just have a bucket of water and a child finds such fun with it. Well, Brooke and her cousin Thomas loved the sprinkler. Brooke was more timid, naturally, and I had to drag her through it.....but she was giggling the entire time. This picture makes me think of old Hollywood....cool shades, awesome swimsuit that COVERS her. ;o)

This was a quiet moment with Uncle Tracy. She plays so hard to get with her uncles, and this was a moment of her letting her guard down. She followed him everywhere and wanted his attention, but when she got it she wasn't quite sure how to react. You can tell it's not Steven because he wouldn't be caught dead wearing a LONGHORNS cap. ;oP

I don't have pictures of the rest of the day. It consisted of wonderful food (ribs, tater salad, homemade ice cream, etc), followed by a really good fireworks show put on by Tracy and Thomas. Then a bath at Nana's before the trek home. We got home later than we planned, but it was well worth it. I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Fourth!
